I'm counting the hours till my day off tomorrow. I'm tired.
After having troubled sleep most of the night, an ambulance went by at 4:30 am with sirens blaring. I woke with my heart pounding. The cats were sleeping in the open window and they took off almost flying and I would imagine their hearts were pounding too. My son told me it woke him too. The question is, why would an ambulance have to have a siren on in rural PEI in the middle of the night. I bet it didn't see another vehicle on the road and if it did a momentary blast of the siren would have alerted it. I would say we were not the only house awakened by this incident.
I hope the weather is nice tomorrow for my day off. Wednesday, sadly, has to be a town day. We country folk don't like going to town in the summer. It's tourist season and traffic is so much heavier. It's still June though and not as bad as July and August will be. I'd rather be at the beach than in town so will work extra hard to get the housework done and get down to the shore. I need it.
Would a deck constitute a porch? Today's photo is a vase of flowers I was arranging on my deck last day off. The music today is from The Format. They bring us On Your Porch and Matches. I like their soft and easy sound. On Your Porch says it's time to get into the sun. I agree.
