I have a few minutes only so there's only time for music today. I was taking photos at a friend's pastureland the other day and felt a presence to my left. This cow was there watching me and for the next ten minutes basically did just that. He was a curious fellow.
How about John Lennon today? I have a version of Stand By Me by Lennon that is very Beatle-like with George Harrison's unmistakable guitar. Does anyone know where this song is from? One of my favorite Lennon songs is Instant Karma. Something that stands out in this version is Ringo's unmistakable drums. We're only missing McCartney for a complete Beatles day. Could he be singing background in Instant Karma?

Oh! Yes, it's from an album. Here's the wiki version: John Lennon recorded his version of the song for his 1975 album Rock 'n' Roll. Lennon's cover of "Stand by Me" was his last hit prior to his five-year retirement from the music industry. This version of the song had a more rock sound than R&B. The beginning of this version sounds like the beginning of Ringo Starr's "Only You (And You Alone)". The B-side of the single was "Move Over Ms. L", a rare and raucous track also covered by The Who drummer Keith Moon
