The new leaves emerging from the trees, in colours from lime green and red to everything in between are making this Island simply gorgeous. I've been out and about the last couple of days and I swear, it's prettier than autumn. Soon the tulips and marsh marigolds will be goneand our famous lupins will be covering the ditches from one end of the Island to the other.
I planted one row of the work garden today and will do another tomorrow and got my lawn mowed at long last. Repairs totaled $450.00. It's no wonder I rage against machines.
